Description:
This is a very vital role for our center! PACE has been in Jacksonville since 1985, but many individuals still do not know about what PACE does for the community.
An ambassador commits to the following:
-Participates in a tour to learn more about the PACE program
-Participates in an ambassador training event
-Refers at least 10 individuals who are potential supporters & volunteers of PACE to our program for a tour *OR* hosts an off-site event that introduces a group of at least 15 to the PACE program
OPTIONAL:
After serving as an ambassador and referring guests to tours, ambassadors can then advance to the Table Captain role if they wish. That includes the following duties:
-Hosts a table of 9 guests at our spring 2011 luncheon (invites more than enough guests so that at least 9 attend; ensures all potential guests have attended a tour prior to the luncheon event; helps distribute information to guests at table during event)
Desired traits: Good communication skills, organized, and positive
Must be able to attend at least one tour prior to the luncheon as well as refer their potential guests. Ambassadors who wish to also be table captains must be present at the luncheon to host table, March 23rd, 2011.
